Tuesday night was the first game planning session, and although there were numerous push ups done by the end of the session the first two structures were beginning to look pretty good. Lets hope the numbers are just as good on Thursday!!

Week 1 Training
Tuesday morning saw 24 players training at 7am!! Again great effort was put in to the training, particularly pleasing was the fact that no one dropped out of the sprint session which demonstrates a great attitude by all the players. If that attitude can continue things look really positive for the coming season.

1st Training Camp 8/9/10 February 2008
The first training camp of the season started on Friday with ex All Black Eric Rush coming to talk to the squad about effort and training habbits. The coaches are hoping that his words will inspire the squad to train hard all season. It continued into the weekend with a full day of training on Saturday. 25 players turned up and all worked exceptionally hard. A great effort by all in the 3k run which finished the day. Particularly Sam, Shaun and Fale for their times. The times are up outside the Sports Co Office.
Sunday bought rain and smaller numbers, only 14 players turned up to be put through their paces by current Auckland 7's coach Ramsey Tomokino. Again though it was a great effort by the boys that were there.
